HOG in Japan

Harley in Japan

I’ve walked by this bike hundreds of times at Daikanyama station in Tokyo.  This time I decided to take a photo.  It’s always in immaculate condition.  It’s actually owned by a male hairdresser from the Assen shop in the background.  I think the B&W is good for the this photo.  The HOG scene has been picking up over the years.  Seems there are more on the road now than in any of the other 20 years I’ve been here.
HISTORY:
In 1935 the Japanese motorcycle industry was founded as a result of ‘Harley-Davidson’ licensing blueprints, tools, dies and machinery to the Sankyo Company of Japan. The result was the Rikuo Internal Combustion Company (陸王, Rikuo Nainenki Kabushiki kaisha) until 1958.
